FCR Transmission ISF Mod
|
FCR has an in-house isotropic superfinishing process (ISF) department, and
thats where we can blueprint your engines gear sets just as its done on
works machines and formula 1 machines. This technology allows your eingine
to run much smoother and frely through decreased friction and proper
interaction with reciprocating parts.
Years ago, this process was done entirely by hand polishing which made it
extremely cost prohibitive to the average consumer. With our updated ISF
process, the cost is much improved and the process itself is also much
improved over what could be done by hand. This process is the real
deal. The ISF process works equally well in road racing and
motocross/off-road racing applications.
Even though typical ISF treatments include gear sets and internal
transmission parts, all the reciprocating parts will benefit from our ISF
process. We use this same process on all of our works suspension parts as
well as full works motocross/atv racing components. The mirror like finish
reduces friction on all moving surfaces, reducing drag and increasing
durability. It also reduces heat significantly, which makes for a smoother
running engine. After ISF treatment, every moving part interacts smoothly and the combined
reduction in friction unleashes previously trapped horse power. Unleashing trapped power, lowering operating temps, and giving your
machine that winning feeling is the best.
